Update your booking details
You can update your booking before service begins. Some changes affect pricing, staffing, or feasibility and require your explicit confirmation before they apply. Muvr treats scope and price-impacting edits as controlled updates, not informal requests.
How to update your booking
- Open the Muvr app and go to your booking.
- Select Edit Details.
- Make your changes.
- Review any pricing impact shown before confirming.
- Confirm to apply the update. Changes are not saved until confirmed.
What you can update
- Add or remove items
- Add or lemove a stop
- Change pickup or drop-off address or details
- Add access details: stairs, elevator, gate, loading dock, or parking
- Update labor or vehicle requirements
- Change service date or time (treated as a reschedule)
What determines outcomes
- Booking state: Unassigned, assigned, or in route determines what is editable.
- Scope of the change: Whether it affects price, routing, or staffing.
- Your confirmation: Price-impacting changes require explicit acceptance before they apply.
Pricing recalculates automatically based on confirmed scope. You will see the updated price before committing.
Constraints
- Updates may not be available once the team is en route or has arrived. Available actions are determined by the current booking stage.
- Same-day date or time changes are treated as reschedules, not edits. Availability is not guaranteed.
- Post-confirmation price changes are only valid for documented triggers: added items or stops, access changes, scope changes, or service type changes. Internal delays, provider cost increases, or Unexplained drift are not valid triggers.
- Missing access details (stairs, long-carry, parking, gate) can cause job failure or require rebooking before dispatch. Add them before the team is assigned.
If you cannot update your booking
Changes may not be available based on the current booking stage:
- Too close to start time: Edits lock at a defined threshold before the job begins.
- Team assigned or in route: Staffing and routing are committed. Scope changes are restricted.
- Job in progress: Updates are not available once service has started.
