Cancel or reschedule your booking

Whether cancellation or rescheduling is available, and what fees apply, depends on where your job is in the process. These are not guesswork decisions. They are determined by booking state, timestamps, and confirmed scope.

How to cancel or reschedule

  1. Open the Muvr app or go to your account on the website.
  2. Go to Your Bookings.
  3. Select the booking you want to change.
  4. Choose Cancel or Reschedule.
  5. Review any fees or availability shown before confirming.
  6. Confirm to apply the change.

How it works by booking stage

What is available depends on your booking's current stage:

  • Not yet assigned: Cancellation is available in the app. Standard cancellation policy applies.
  • Team assigned: Cancellation may incur a fee. The amount is shown before you confirm.
  • Team en route: Cancellation is restricted. A fee may apply. Limited changes are available in the app.
  • Team has arrived or job has started: Cancellation is not available. If there is a service problem, use Report an Issue.
Fees shown in the app at the time of cancellation are the authoritative amount. Muvr does not waive fees based on how a request is framed.

Rescheduling

  • Reschedule requests are treated as new bookings if the original time slot cannot be held.
  • Same-day reschedule requests depend on availability and are not guaranteed.
  • Rescheduling after the team is assigned or en route may be treated as a cancellation plus a new booking.

If you cannot make changes in the app

If the option is not available, the booking has moved past the point where that action is supported. The current booking stage determines what is editable.

  • Too close to start time: Changes are locked at a defined threshold before the job begins.
  • Team assigned or en route: Availability and routing are committed. Scope edits are restricted.
  • Job in progress or completed: Cancellation and reschedule are no longer available.

If the job is in progress and there is a service problem, use Report an issue with a job to document what happened and request review.
