Draft Orders: What They Mean and How to Complete Them

Edited

When you start a booking in the Muvr app but don’t finish payment, your request is saved as a Draft Order. Drafts are designed to make it easier for you to come back and complete your booking later without having to start over.

What Draft Orders Mean

  • A Draft Order contains the service details you’ve entered (pickup, drop-off, items, time, etc.) but hasn’t been paid for yet.

  • Drafts are not active bookings — no driver or helper will be assigned until payment is completed.

  • You can edit, update, or delete draft orders anytime before confirming.

How to Complete a Draft Order

  1. Open the Muvr App

    • Log in to your account.

    • Go to the Draft Orders section in your dashboard.

  2. Select the Draft Order

    • Tap the order you want to complete.

    • Review the details (pickup, drop-off, items, date, time).

  3. Make Edits if Needed

    • Update item details, add photos, adjust date/time, or add special instructions.

    • Confirm everything is accurate — especially item dimensions/weight, as this affects pricing and helpers.

  4. Review the Quote

    • The app will update the pricing based on your edits.

    • You’ll see a detailed cost breakdown.

  5. Proceed to Payment

    • Tap Confirm & Pay.

    • Choose your payment method and complete checkout.

  6. Booking Confirmation

    • Once payment is successful, your draft becomes an active order.

    • You’ll receive a confirmation email/app notification, and drivers/helpers will be assigned.

Important Notes

  • Drafts are only valid until paid — availability of drivers/helpers isn’t guaranteed until payment is confirmed.

  • If you leave a draft open too long, prices may change (e.g., due to demand or service adjustments).

  • Our support team may reach out to assist if you have pending drafts, to help you complete your booking.
