Availability of Drivers & Helpers (What It Means for Your Booking)

Edited

Muvr uses a real-time matching system to connect your request with available drivers and helpers in your area. Availability directly impacts how quickly your booking is confirmed and completed.

1. Real-Time Matching

  • When you place a request, the Muvr platform searches for drivers and helpers nearby who meet your timing, location, and vehicle requirements.

  • Once notified, drivers and helpers have the ability to accept or decline a booking depending on their own availability.

2. Advance vs. Same-Day Bookings

  • Advance bookings give you the best chance of securing your preferred time slot and avoiding extra costs.

  • Same-day bookings are subject to real-time driver/helper supply. If demand is high and availability is limited, surge charges may apply to secure a team on short notice.

3. Peak vs. Off-Peak Hours

  • During peak periods (weekends, mornings, month-end), availability may be tighter and confirmations can take longer.

  • Off-peak hours generally offer smoother scheduling and more flexibility.

4. Ongoing Monitoring

  • Muvr continuously monitors supply and demand across service areas.

  • If no immediate matches are found, the system will suggest alternative time slots, or our support team may step in to help reassign jobs.

What this means for you:
Your booking depends on driver/helper availability in real time. Booking in advance ensures more reliable scheduling and helps you avoid surge charges, while same-day requests depend on the drivers and helpers who are free and willing to accept.
