Movers are expected to provide timely notice if they need to cancel. Cancellation fees apply based on the timing of the cancellation to ensure fair compensation for disruptions.
1. Cancellation Fee Breakdown
24 Hours to 1 Hour Before Start Time:
Fee: $30
Reason: Covers short-notice disruptions and replacement challenges.
Less Than 1 Hour Before Start Time:
Fee: $50
Reason: Reflects the higher impact and cost of last-minute changes.
No-Show or Non-Responsive:
Fee: $80
Reason: Addresses severe disruptions caused by failing to show up.
2. Exceptions and Flexibility
Emergencies:
Movers can report emergencies or unforeseen circumstances for review. Fees may be waived or reduced upon verification.
First-Time Warning:
Movers may receive one fee waiver per year for their first cancellation if communicated promptly.
3. Multiple Cancellations
Account Review:
Movers with more than three cancellations or no-shows within six months may have their account reviewed for potential action.
