Requirements to Sign Up as a Hauler (Helper)
Joining Muvr as a Hauler Helper is an excellent opportunity to assist with hauling tasks without needing to supply a qualifying vehicle or specialized equipment. Helpers work under the direction of a Driver/Lead to ensure efficient and safe transportation of items.
1. Personal Requirements
Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Fitness: Able to lift, carry, and load heavy items (up to 100 lbs. or more) safely, including while climbing stairs or balancing.
Experience:
Prior hauling experience is preferred but not required.
Willingness to follow directions and assist with various tasks.
Teamwork Skills: Ability to collaborate with Drivers/Leads and other helpers.
Transportation: Access to a personal vehicle (car, SUV, etc.) for travel to job locations is required.
2. Document Requirements
Driver’s License or Government-Issued ID
A valid ID to verify your identity (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
Profile Photo
A clear, professional headshot that follows these guidelines:
Face the camera directly with no hats or sunglasses.
Use a well-lit background free of glare.
Vehicle Registration and Insurance
Active registration and insurance are required for personal vehicles used to travel to job locations.
Certificate of Insurance (COI)
General Liability Insurance with a coverage amount of at least $1,000,000.
Muvr Technologies, Inc. must be listed as a certificate holder.
Ensures protection for you and customers during hauling jobs.
Background Check Consent
You must consent to a background check to ensure safety and reliability.
Lifting Video
Submit a video demonstrating your ability to lift and carry heavy items (100 lbs. or more).
This video is required for insurance purposes and should showcase proper lifting techniques.
You may lift a sofa with a partner or carry 100 lbs. of weights at a gym or sporting goods store.
Don’t forget to introduce yourself briefly in the video.
3. Equipment Requirements
Safety Gear (Required):
Hard Hat.
Cut-Resistant Gloves.
Steel-Toed Boots.
Dust Mask.
First Aid Kit.
No Job Tools Required: The Driver/Lead will supply all necessary hauling equipment.
Personal Essentials: Ensure you wear appropriate attire and bring water or snacks for longer jobs.
4. Training Requirements
Complete onboarding training through the Muvr Driver App, which includes:
Proper lifting techniques.
Safe handling and disposal of debris or loose materials.
Communication and teamwork skills.
5. Additional Notes
Helpers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Timeliness and reliability are crucial to ensure smooth job completion.
Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory to prevent injuries and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Pay and Opportunities
Compensation: Pay is determined by your role during jobs and is set by Muvr, with earnings displayed for each job before acceptance.
Advancement: Helpers can transition to Driver/Lead roles by meeting the vehicle and equipment requirements over time.
