Requirements to Sign Up as a Hauler (Driver/Lead)
To join Muvr as a Hauler Driver/Lead, you must meet specific requirements, including supplying a qualifying vehicle and equipment. This role comes with higher pay and leadership responsibilities.
1. Personal Requirements
Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Fitness: Demonstrate the ability to load and unload heavy or oversized items safely.
Experience:
Prior hauling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with securing loads and operating larger vehicles is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Ability to coordinate with helpers and manage the transportation of items.
2. Document Requirements
Driver’s License
Must be valid and not expired.
A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required for certain larger vehicles (depending on region and vehicle type).
Profile Photo
A clear, professional headshot that follows these guidelines:
Face the camera directly with no hats or sunglasses.
Use a well-lit background free of glare.
Vehicle Registration
Must match the details of your registered hauling vehicle.
Vehicle Insurance
Active insurance is required and must cover the registered vehicle.
Certificate of Insurance (COI) (if applicable)
Proof of General Liability & Commercial Auto Insurance.
Minimum coverage amount: $1,000,000.
Muvr Technologies, Inc. must be listed as a certificate holder.
Vehicle and Equipment Photos
Upload clear photos showing:
Your vehicle’s exterior and interior cargo area.
Required equipment (e.g., tarps, straps, bins) organized in one photo.
Lifting Video
Submit a video demonstrating your ability to lift and carry heavy items (100 lbs. or more).
This video is required for insurance purposes and should showcase proper lifting techniques.
You may lift a sofa with a partner or carry 100 lbs. of weights at a gym or sporting goods store.
Don’t forget to introduce yourself briefly in the video.
3. Vehicle Requirements
Approved Types:
Pickup Trucks: Bed lengths of 6ft, 7ft, or 8ft, with high weight capacities.
Flatbed Trucks: Suitable for oversized or irregularly shaped loads.
Dump Trucks: Clean and capable of safely transporting loose materials.
Box Trucks: Cargo capacity of 12ft-26ft.
Condition:
Vehicles must be clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
Adequate cargo space to handle typical hauling tasks safely.
4. Equipment Requirements

Contractor Clean-Up Bags.
Debris Bins or Buckets.
Tarp/Covers for open-bed vehicles.
Ratchet Tie-Down Straps.
Hand Truck.
Lifting Straps.
Disassembly Kit (Screwdrivers, Drill, Hex Keys).

Shovel.
Portable Power Washer.
Appliance Dolly.
Mattress Bags.
Load Bars or Cargo Nets for additional security.
Safety Gear (Required)
Hard Hat.

5. Background Check
Consent to a background check conducted by Muvr’s partner, which typically takes 1-3 business days.
A clean record is required to ensure safety and reliability.
6. Training Requirements
Complete onboarding training through the Muvr Driver App, which includes:
Proper load balancing and securing techniques.
Safe driving practices for larger vehicles.
Customer service best practices.
7. Additional Notes
Drivers/Leads are responsible for coordinating with helpers and ensuring the quality of service.
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining professionalism is essential for high ratings and repeat opportunities.
