Requirements to Sign Up as a Mover (Helper)

Joining Muvr as a Mover Helper is a great opportunity to assist with moving tasks even without owning a qualifying vehicle or equipment. As a helper, you’ll work under the direction of a Driver/Lead to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

• Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 100 lbs. (or more) safely, including while climbing stairs or balancing.

• Experience:

  • Prior moving experience is preferred but not required.

  • Willingness to follow instructions and assist with various tasks.

• Teamwork Skills: Ability to collaborate with the Driver/Lead and other helpers effectively.

• Transportation: A personal vehicle (car, SUV, etc.) to travel to job locations is required.

1. Driver’s License or Government-Issued ID

   • A valid ID to verify your identity (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

2. Profile Photo

   • A clear, professional headshot that follows these guidelines:

     • Face the camera directly with no hats or sunglasses.

     • Use a well-lit background free of glare.

3. Vehicle Registration and Insurance

   • Active vehicle registration and insurance are required for personal vehicles used to travel to job locations.

4. Certificate of Insurance (COI)

   • General Liability Insurance with coverage of at least $1,000,000.

   • Ensures protection for both you and customers.

   • Muvr Technologies, Inc. must be listed as a certificate holder.

5. Background Check Consent

   • You must consent to a background check to ensure safety and reliability.

6. Lifting Video

   • Submit a video demonstrating your ability to lift and carry heavy items (100 lbs. or more).

   • This video is required for insurance purposes and should showcase proper lifting techniques.

   • You may lift a sofa with a partner or carry 100 lbs. of weights at a gym or sporting goods store.

   • Don’t forget to introduce yourself briefly in the video.

• Safety Gear (Required):

  • Gloves (cut-resistant preferred).

  • Steel-Toed Boots.

  • Back Support Belt.

  • First Aid Kit.

• None Required for Job Tools: You are not required to supply moving equipment, as the Driver/Lead will provide the necessary tools.

• Personal Essentials: Ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear for safe and effective performance.

• Complete onboarding training through the Muvr Driver App, which includes:

  • Proper lifting techniques.

  • Wrapping and securing items.

  • Effective communication and customer service practices.

• Helpers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on the job.

• Punctuality is crucial to ensure jobs are completed on time.

• Safety protocols must always be followed to prevent injuries and protect customer belongings.

• Compensation: Pay is based on your contributions during jobs, with rates set by Muvr and displayed for each job before acceptance.

• Advancement: Over time, helpers may transition to Driver/Lead roles by acquiring a qualifying vehicle and equipment.
